Amalgamation Proposal Vote Results - Update December 10, 2011

Dear Members:

On behalf of your respective Boards of Directors we wish to thank all of our members who participated and voiced their opinion on the proposed amalgamation.

Your decision is that we will not be amalgamating and the status quo will continue.

While your Boards supported this initiative, we are confident that we were able to engage our membership and structure a vote where the will of the membership was properly and freely expressed.

On behalf of our respective memberships, we wish our fellow organization continued good luck with its hockey programs. We will continue to foster support for each other and encourage the hockey playing experience of all of our children and all other hockey playing children against whom we have the privilege and opportunity to compete.

For those of you keeping count, the detailed results are as follows:

As advised throughout, each organization would have had to carry the vote by a 2/3 majority of the votes cast at the respective meetings.
